Africa4Resilience (A4R), in collaboration with LM International and SMC, proudly participated in the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GP2025) held in Geneva.
Our joint delegation brought together powerful voices from across the continent — including Kenya4Resilience (K4R), Uganda4Resilience (U4R), Burkina Faso4Resilience (BF4R), and UMN — to advocate for local leadership, faith-based partnerships, and equitable resilience financing.
Through side events, bilateral dialogues, and active engagement in global conversations, A4R and its partners highlighted the critical role of community-led systems in disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.
This moment marked a major milestone for our growing movement, reinforcing the relevance of our work at both the national and global levels.
